Before You Go

To help your child have the best possible experience at WhizKid Wonderland Holiday Camp, please make sure you have read and understood the Parent Handbook before their first day. It contains important information about our routines, policies, and what to expect.

Children will be taking part in lots of fun and sometimes messy activities, so please dress them in comfortable clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty. We also recommend packing a spare set of clothes, just in case.

Please ensure all items are clearly labelled with your child’s name.

What to Bring

Labelled water bottle

Any personal care items your child may need (e.g. wipes,
nappies, creams)

Any medication your child requires, clearly labelled and with
instructions

Packed Lunch (nut-free) and healthy snacks

Sun cream and a sun hat (in warm weather)

Comfort items if needed (e.g. a fidget toy or familiar soft toy)

Spare clothes (including underwear and socks)

A waterproof coat or jacket (in case of rain)

Settling at Camp

We understand that some children may take time to settle into a new environment, especially if it’s their first time at camp. At WhizKid Wonderland Holiday Camp, our staff are trained to provide gentle support, reassurance, and patience to help your child feel safe and comfortable.

If your child is finding it difficult to settle, we will work closely with you to understand their needs and put strategies in place that can help – whether that’s introducing them to camp gradually, offering more one-to-one support, or incorporating familiar routines or comfort items. Communication is key, and we’ll keep you informed every step of the way to ensure your child has a positive and enjoyable experience.

Remember!

If you have any questions before camp starts, our team is happy to help. We look forward to welcoming your child to a fun, safe, and inclusive holiday experience!
